Our client is a leading company in agricultural consumer goods.
The Safety supervisor is responsible for the planning, coordination, and control of all activities related to industrial and environmental safety in the facility. He also will support the Plant Manager and Plant Supervisors in all operations in accordance with the company policies and procedures. He will also ensure our safety practices are consistent with local, state and federal compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
• Planning, coordination and control of all activities related to industrial safety.
• Develop and implement safety practices, policies and procedures as needed.
• Ensure periodic safety inspections are performed.
• Act in an advisory capacity to the facility on health and safety compliance matters.
• Serve as the technical resource at the facility on safety.
• Lead personnel towards a focus and commitment to a safe work place compliance excellence.
• Develop initiatives aimed at improving the health and safety of all employees.
• Develop and assist the plant with implementing and tracking proactive safety measures and appropriate behavioural initiatives.
• Serve as liaison between the plant and the corporate safety manager.
• Safety training for contractors.
• Coordinate all activities related to Fire Fighting protection.
• Assure that all Bunge best practices (PSM) is in place as needed.
• Assure that all individual protection equipment is according local regulations.
• Assure the physics integrity of all employees and facility equipments and constructions.
Job Requirement:
• Bachelor's degree in safety or related field.
• Five years safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• English and Vietnamese Fluency.
• Must have good planning skills, problem solving skills, good communication skills and project management skills.
